24 Hour Fitness: Shaq & Jeter Livechat
24 Hour Fitness has a number of key strategic relationships with athletes, and enlisted Harlo to digitally activate these relationships to support the brand, help grow the social channels, and get more mileage out of the sponsorships. We created a series of hosted live celebrity video chats and asked fans of 24 Hour Fitness to submit questions via Facebook and Twitter to Shaquille O’Neal and Derek Jeter. We worked with a nimble production team and streamed the interviews on Facebook and Livestream. We increased participation with these live events through Promoted Tweets and signed memorabilia giveaways, and facilitated Facebook conversations to further drive engagement. We later edited the videos for YouTube, where they continued to receive an even wider reach.
Thousands of fans tuned in and participated in the live-streams with on demand views reaching over 30,000. The content also had a positive impact across Facebook with reach and engagement increasing as much as 300% during the events.
